Effective date: 8 April 2026
Cravo ("we", "us", or "our") is a quit-smoking and quit-vaping app developed and operated by Abhishek Gangadhar, a sole proprietor based in Bengaluru, India.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Cravo, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
When you use Cravo, you enter personal details during onboarding such as:
- Your name
- Your quit date
- Smoking or vaping habits (e.g. cigarettes per day, cost per pack)
- Your reasons for quitting
All of this information is stored entirely on your device. We do not transmit it to our servers, and we do not send it to any third-party service. Your detailed quit journey progress, streaks, personal notes, and SOS session history are also stored locally and cannot be accessed by us.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
We use third-party services that may automatically collect limited technical and usage data:
Mixpanel (Analytics)
We use Mixpanel to understand how people use Cravo so we can improve the app. Mixpanel collects:
- Anonymous usage events (which features are used, screens viewed, onboarding progress, SOS interventions used, milestones reached)
- Subscription plan and notification permission status
- Device type, operating system version, app version, language, and region
- A randomly generated anonymous identifier
Mixpanel does not receive your name, quit date, smoking or vaping habits, financial information, email address, phone number, or any data from Apple HealthKit.
For details on how Mixpanel handles data, see Mixpanel's Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat (Subscription Management)
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect:
- An anonymous app user identifier
- Purchase and subscription status
- Device type, operating system, and app version
RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or any personal health data.
For details, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Sentry (Crash Reporting and Performance Monitoring)
We use Sentry to identify and fix bugs and crashes in the app. When Cravo encounters an error or crash, Sentry collects:
- Stack traces and error details
- Device model, operating system version, and app version
- Anonymous device identifiers
- Limited performance and timing data
Sentry does not receive your name, quit journey data, email, or any other personal information you enter into the app. Sentry data is processed in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
For details on how Sentry handles data, see Sentry's Privacy Policy.
Apple App Store
Payments for subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or have access to your payment information (credit card number, billing address, etc.). Apple's terms and privacy policy govern those transactions.
1.3 Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not require you to create an account or password.
- We do not collect your email address or phone number.

- We do not sell your data to anyone.
2. How We Use Information
We use the limited data described above to:
- Provide and maintain the Cravo app experience
- Understand which features are most useful so we can improve the app

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your personal quit journey data — including your name, quit date, smoking or vaping habits, daily progress, streaks, personal notes, and SOS session history — is stored entirely on your device using local storage. We cannot access, retrieve, or recover this data. If you delete the app, this data is permanently deleted.
Anonymous usage events are stored on Mixpanel's servers. Subscription information is stored on RevenueCat's servers. Crash reports are stored on Sentry's servers in the European Union. None of these contain personally identifying information about you. Please refer to each provider's privacy policy (linked above) for information about their security practices and data retention.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We share limited anonymous data only with the third-party services described above (Mixpanel, RevenueCat, and Sentry), strictly for analytics, subscription management, and crash reporting purposes.
We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request from a government authority.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Delete your data: Your personal quit journey data is stored entirely on your device. To delete it, simply delete the app — all local data is permanently removed. For the anonymous data held by Mixpanel, RevenueCat, or Sentry, contact us at the email below and we will submit deletion requests on your behalf within 30 days.
Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions with data protection laws may have additional rights, including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
6. Children's Privacy
Cravo is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
